Summary[edit]

Description

The camp, which has become equivalent to Jordan's fourth largest city in terms of the number of people there, now has over 3,000 small businesses, which have been set up by the refugees themselves, selling everything from fruit and veg to roast chicken and bridal wear. The main street has been nick-named the 'Champs Elysees', after the famous shopping street in Paris.
