| Description | Record d'anoxie mesurée en pleine eau par une station d'analyse automatique, inencrassable et autonettoyante de l'Agence de l'eau Artois-Picardie (dans le fleuve côtier Aa, ancienne rivière à saumons et truites de mer. La photo est prise lors d'une étude de l'état du fleuve faite début des années 1990 par l'Agence de l'eau. En plein jour, dans l'eau prélevée entre le fond et la surface, dans une zone d'eau vive (à Blendecques) , à environ 1 m de cette dernière, le taux d'oxygène était souvent de 0,1 à 0,5 ppm, alors qu'il devrait au moins dépasser 8 ppm à cet endroit et que sous 3 ppm d'O2 dissous la plupart des organismes vivant aérobie sont en stress par manque d'oxygène. Même les coûteuses sondes autonettoyantes et inencrassables sont tombées en panne, engluées dans un épais mucilage bactérien (sphaerotylus majoritairement ?) après quelques heures de fonctionnement seulement. (Il a fallu poser une triple crépine pour filtrer les bactéries en suspension dans l'eau avant de l'analyser, ce qui fait que les estimations de Carbone organique total ont été très sous-estimées). Rem : l'année précédente, la même station d'analyse avait fonctionné sans encombre pour l'étude du canal de Noeufossé. Position GPS : Blendecques (62575) 50.717998, 2.277904 |
