English: Aberdeen to Inverness Railway Line Looking towards Keith Junction and Inverness from the overbridge near Montgrew. In the distance, to the right of the railway line, are flat-topped stacks of empty casks (NOT barrels - a barrel is, strictly speaking, a specific size of cask containing 36 imperial gallons) waiting to be used for whisky. The village of Newmill is visible part way up the hill on the right. |
