Summary[edit]

Description
English: Abhainn Suidhe Abhainn is Gaelic for 'river' and Suidhe translates as 'resting by' hence the name of the castle and village nearby. This is where the river enters the sea and it is unusual in that there is no estuary. The river even at low tide cascades over an elevated rock face into the sea. The loch at the head of the river is unnamed on the map but generally known as 'the Ladies Loch'
