Summary[edit]

Description This 17th century Ming dynasty ceramic plate originally came from Fujian province, China. It was likely ordered by the Sultans of Muslim Aceh in North-West Indonesia since they bear cursive Arabic script including invocations to Allah. This object was a gift to the UBC Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, Canada, by the Ismaili Muslim Community.
