English: Byakkotai Suicide Monument by Benito Mussolini in 1928. The inscription reads:

WITNESS FOR ETERNAL GREATNESS
GRANTS IMPERISHABLE HONOR
TO THE MEMORY OF THE HEROES OF BYAKKOTAI

YEAR MCMXXVIII - VI FASCIST ERA
Italiano: Cenotafio inviato dal Governo Italiano nel 1928, per volere di Benito Mussolini, in memoria dei suicidi di Biacco-Tai. Il monumento è formato dal basamento in marmo di Carrara, sul quale si erge una colonna rinvenuta negli scavi di Pompei, sormontata da un'aquila in bronzo. L'iscrizione, dice:
