| Description |
English: Escape pod operation on a russian/soviet Akula-class submarine: The commanding officer orders to abandon ship (1) and the crew hurries to enter the Escape pod in the sail(2). Once the pod is housing the entire crew, its docking clamps are released and it breaks free from the doomed submarine and floats to the surface (3).
Deutsch: Einsatz der Fluchtkapsel auf einem russischen/sowjetischen U-Boot der Akula Klasse: der kommandierende Offizier gibt den Befehl das U-Boot (1) zu verlassen und die Mannschaft beeilt sich die Fluchtkapsel im U-Boot-Turm zu erreichen. Sobald sich die gesamte Besatzung in der Kapsel (2) befindet, werden die Andockklammern gelöst und die Kapsel reisst sich vom sinkenden U-Boot los und schwimmt an die Oberfläche(3). |
