Deutsch: So genannte »Alexander Rondanini«. Antike Kopie, der Original gehörte zu einer von Euphranor geschaffenen Gruppe: König Philipp von Makedonien auf seinem Streitwagen mit Viergespann; sein Sohn Alexander, im Begriff, den Wagen zu besteigen, hielt die Zügel in beiden Händen (Panzer und Gewand Zutaten des Kopisten). Aufstellung der Gruppe nach der Schlacht von Chäronea, 338 v. Chr.
English: So called “Alexander Rondanini”. Ancient copy, the original belongs to a group created by Euphranor: King Philip of Macedon on his chariot lead by 4 horses; his son Alexander, taking on the chariot, holds the reins in both hands (armor and garb added the copist). Creation of the group after the Battle of Chaeronea, 338 BC.

Copie antique, l'original appartenait à un groupe statutaire sculpté par Euphranor : le roi Philippe de Macédoine était représenté sur un char tiré par quatre chevaux ; son fils Alexandre, en train de monter dans le char, tenait les rênes des deux mains (l'armure et le vêtement sont des ajouts du copiste). Création du groupe après la bataille de Chéronée, 338 av. J.-C.
