אלגרו עיר בנפת סאסארי, בצפון-מערב סרדיניה, המכונה גם בשם ה"ברצ'לונטה " (Barceloneta) של איטליה דהיינו ברצלונה הקטנה. מספר תושביה כ-42,000 (לעומת כ-54,300 תושבים בראשית המאה ה-20). היא מוגדרת כ"אזור לשוני" (Isola linguistica) קטלאני. 22.4% מתושבי העיר דוברים בניב מקומי אלגרנזה (Dialetto algherese), שהוכר באיטליה כניב של מיעוט ונעשות פעולות לשמירתו. העיר מוכרת כ"ריביירת האלמוגים" (Riviera del Corallo), ובחופה ניתן למצוא אלמוגים בצבע אדום.
