Applegate lake behind the dam
Description
English: Applegate Lake on the Applegate River in Jackson County, Oregon. The lake is impounded by the Applegate Dam on the river. The lake is approximately 3.5 miles (5.6 km) long and extends upriver nearly to the California border. The lake is located approximately 23 miles (37 km) (straight line) west-southwest of Ashland, Oregon in the Siskiyou Mountains of southern Oregon.
