| Description |
English: Ardan Lough There are alleged to be 365 loughs in County Cavan - one for every day of the year. Although probably an exaggeration, there are certainly a huge number of loughs nestling between the drumlins throughout the Irish lakeland centred on Cavan but extending to adjoining counties.
Hidden behind the bushes is a narrow channel which connects Ardan Lough with Inishmuck Lough beyond. Inishmuck Lough is a northern extension of Lough Oughter, one of the largest loughs. |
