Description
Español: Escudo con las armas de Sánchez de Bustamante, en la Casa de Sánchez de Bustamante o "Casa de los Leones" en el Barrio de Paramenesde Viérnoles, en el municipio de Torrelavega, Cantabria, España. Siglo XVIII. Según M.ª del Carmen González Echegaray presenta por soportes dos leones coronados, como timbre la cabeza de un guerrero con celada y plumaje, acompañada de dos sirenas que tocan cuernas. Bajo la punta de un mascarón. El campo es medio partido y cortado: 1) Trece roeles. Armas de Bustamante (completado con las tres flores de lis de la punta del escudo). 2) León empinante a un árbol; bordura cargada de ocho aspas. Armas de Ruis. 3) Tres flores de lis. Descripción en la pág. 124 del Catálogo Monumental de Viérnoles, ed. Junta Vecinal, 2003.
