English: Arnside Park meets the sea This bluff headland and the shore to the East take the brunt of any Southwesterly gales when the tide is up. At low water the expanse of the sands of the Bay can readily be seen from this and other vantage points along the shore, fossils are also to be found in the limestone for those that search dilligently. Grange over Sands is on the far shore. |
