Italiano: Arte tardo-ellenistica, il corridore in bronzo, 50-30 ac. ca. H. 1,53 m.
Français : Coureur. Art hellénistique tardif. Il s'agit de la statue d'un vainqueur aux concours d'Olympie ou à l'un des nombreux concours olympiques qui se multiplient dans les cités grecques à la fin de l'époque hellénistique. Alors que l'image classique ne retenait pas de trait vraiment individualisé, ici , le nez aquilin, les tempes fuyantes favorisent l'identification du vainqueur et on peut déduire de cette image réaliste qu'il a concouru dans la catégorie des adultes. Il s'agit d'un portrait de vainqueur, souvent payé par sa cité et placé dans cette même cité. Bronze, H. 1,53 m. Vers 50-30 avant l'ère commune. Izmir, musée d'archéologie Inv. 9363.
