Batterie d'Auderville la Haye après pilonnage - Canon 203mm sur rail. -D'après le lien sur Flickr: Auderville dans la Hague : état d'un canon sur rail allemand de 20,3 cm après un pilonnage intense. Batterie sur voie ferrée et constituée de deux pièces de 203 mm avec une portée maximum de 38 km. Batterie montée sur rail tournant à 360° mis en place sur plate-forme (cuve) constituée de deux pièces de 20,3 cm avec une portée maximum de 38 km pouvant tirer dans toutes les directions. 3. Batterie/HKAR 1262 codée StP 356. La batterie est bombardée le 28 juin par des P-47 et des B-26. Auderville est libérée le 1 juillet 1944 à 04H00 par le 3rd/47th Inf. avec le renfort du 39th Inf. (9th US ID). English: In Auderville: German 20.3cm rail cannon after an intense bombing. The battery is rail-mounted and consists of two 203mm cannons with a maximum range of 38km. The unit can turn 360°, and is capable of shooting in any direction. The battery was bombed on june 28, 1944 by P-47s and B-26s.
