Summary[edit]
DescriptionBarking station - geograph.org.uk - 622842.jpg |
English: Barking station Barking is a large station with no less han eight parallel platforms. This photograph shows the main District Line platforms on the through route from London to Upminster, but further to the left there are platforms served by C2C (ex-London, Tilbury and Southend) trains from Fenchurch Street to Southend, while to the right Hammersmith and City line trains terminate and there is also a platform for terminating Overground trains from Gospel Oak. The whole station is well laid out and convenient: there are even clean WCs, without charge for use. |
