Svenska: "Rousseau ivrade starkt för barnens rätt till bekväma kläder. För de mindre barnen föreslog han en ledig kolt, som lämnade fritt spelrum för deras rörelser. Publikationen Galerie des modes et Costumes Francais visade stort intresse för detta nytänkande, och på denna plansch från omkring 1780 ser vi dess version av kolten."
