Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bee bole in Tudor brick wall, Fulham Palace. This was a recess holding a straw bee skep. There are several of these along the wall. They are raised a few feet above the ground, partly because the area was subject to flooding from the Thames. This is the one nearest the gate into the walled garden. For other bee boles see 412612.
