Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ben Tianavaig crags The root cause of the landslips that created the amazing terrain of the Storr, Quiraing and Tianavaig can be seen here. Horizontal beds of mesozoic sediments are topped by layers of basalt lavas. The bottom layer of basalt is an intrusion that exhibits the vertical columnar jointing that can also be seen at the Kilt Rock 350562 and at Fingals Cave on Staffa 270819.
