Summary[edit]

Description
English: Berkeley Tomb, Coberley Church The tomb of Sir Thomas Berkeley who fought at the Battle of Crécy in 1346, and rebuilt Coberley church, and his wife Lady Berkeley. After Sir Thomas's death, Lady Berkeley married Sir William Whittington and was the mother of Sir Richard (Dick) Whittington, who was three times Mayor of London, and of pantomime fame today. The small tomb along side is probably that of a Berkeley child.
