Description
Deutsch: Blick von der Aussichtsplattform des Schlosses Marienburg auf dem Bergfried nach Osten in das Leinetal. Im Vordergrund blickt man auf den bewaldeten Marienberg mit dem Schulenburger Forst, davor auf die Dächer der Burgkapelle und der Marienburg. Im Hintergrund sieht man von links nach rechts den bewaldeten Calenberg, davor den winzigen Ort Lauenstadt, Fluss Leine, Sarstedt (im Hintergrund), Giften, Barnten, Rössinger Kiesteiche, Rössing, Abraumhalde Wetterberg bei Giesen (im Hintergrund), Zuckerfabrik Nordstemmen, Nordstemmen (angeschnitten), dahinter die Senke von Hildesheim ("Im Potte" genannt) und der Beginn des Bergzuges Hildesheimer Wald in Niedersachsen, Deutschland. Die Vergrößerung des Bildes wird empfohlen.
