| Description |
English: Blue Ridge was at sea from 5 April thru 7 June and 14 June thru 20 July during GOT operations with NO TWO CANS OF BEER and no port visit to Kaohsiung. I count 108 days total in those two periods. Combat zone was 94 days total, but the Navy Award Site has only 76 days recorded. I suspect this swabbie would have preferred a few days in Kaohsiung on the transit back to BR's home port, San Diego. :) |
