| Description |
English: Bomb crater. This is one of a pair of fairly shallow craters; the other one is located about 50 metres to the north-west: 1758921.
Their presence testifies to the effectiveness of the WWII decoy sites that were located about 700 metres away: 1757962. Further to the west, a much deeper crater is visible: 1757512. The snow-covered hills visible in the central part of the background are the southern face of the Campsies, ranging from Lecket Hill (NS6481, on the left) to Brown Hill (NS6678, on the right). |
