| Description |
English: Bridleway in Highgate Country Park, Staffordshire The O.S.maps show this Bridleway as leaving the road by the cottage at GR SO846892, and the post is there. The way is indistinct and 200 metres into the wood, it is blocked by barbed wire. This seems to be because a new, more convenient way has been marked through the wood, which actually starts at the new car park at SO845893. Birch is the dominant tree in the mainly mixed woodland all over the region. |
