Summary of inscription: John Brydges (1604-1669), Esquire, of Priors Court, who married Jacosa (Joyce), a daughter of Henry Bright of Worcester, Bachelor of Sacred Theology, by whom he had three daughters and co-heiresses. Arms of Brydges impaling Bright. Arms of Bright family of Colwall, Herefordshire: Azure, a fess wavy ermine in chief three crescents argent.
