For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Ein Berliner Krüppelmuseum! Im Oskar-Helene-Heim in Berlin befindet sich ein Museum für Krüppelfürsorge. Das Museum zeigt in vorbildlicher Weise, wie auf dem Gebiete der Krüppelfürsorge gearbeitet wird. Ein 12 jähriger Junge , welcher sein beiden Arme durch unvorsichtiges Berühren einer Starkstromleitung verlor, hat im Oskar-Helene-Heim gelernt, wie man sich ohne Arme behilft. Unser Bild zeigt ihn, wie er mittels einer Prothese seine Mahlzeit einnimmt. |
