For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Arbeitsmänner werden ausgewählt.

Auch in diesem Winter wird die wehrmäßige Schießausbildung weiterbetrieben. Der Arbeitsmann und künftige Soldat soll durch diese Ausbildung schon jetzt für seinen späteren Einsatz im Osten oder Norden vorgebildet werden. Besonderer Wert wird auf wehrmäßiges Verhalten im Gelände und auf den Ausdauer erfordernden Langlauf in der Ebene gelegt. Reichslehrgang im wehrmäßigen Schilauf auf der Planei bei Schladning. Üben der Anschlagarten, Gewehr auf den Schistöcken aufgelegt.
