Leipzig, Grimmaische Straße, "Fürstenhauserker" ADN-ZB Gahlbeck 16.1.1986- pe-Leipzig: Der "Fürstenhauserker" eines der schönsten architektonischen Zeugnisse aus der über 600jahriger Geschichte Leipzigs, bereichert wieder das Bild der Grimmaischen Straße. Er erhielt seinen Platz an einem lückenschließenden Neubau. Früher zierten zwei Runderker aus Rochlitzer Porphyrtuff das um 1560 errichtete sogenannte Fürstenhaus in der Grimmaischen Straße. Der berühmte Renaissancebau fiel den Bomben des zweiten Weltkrieges zum Opfer. Nach erhaltenen Einzelteilen sowie alten Stichen und Aufnahmen arbeitete der Dresdner Bildhauer Christian Hempel die Kopie nach.
