For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Bauarbeiter ADN-ZB Hirndorf 7.5.1986 Erfurt: Wettbewerb-Zu den Schrittmachern im Industriebau des Bau- und Montagekombinats Erfurt gehört das Kollektiv um Brigadier Klaus Gottmannshausen (l.), hier im Gespräch mit Rolf Schweitzner (M.) und Rudi Wenzel. Der Betrieb will bis zum Jahresende die Nettoproduktion um 3,8 Tagesleistungen und die geplante Produktivitätssteigerung mit 1,5 Prozent überbieten.
