For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Sindermann-2.9.1988-pe-Bez. Rostock: Prof. Jo Jastram (Hintergrund mitte), wird am 4.9.88, 60 Jahre alt. In seinem Atelier bei Kneese (Kreis Ribnitz-Damgarten) wird zur Zeit eine Hengst-Plastik des Künstlers von Mitarbeitern der Werkstatt für kunsthandwerkliche Metallspritztechnik Rostock "Ausstellungsreif" gemacht. Diese Figur, die für das Berliner Neubaugebiet Hohenschönhause bestimmt ist, wird in einer Rostocker Ausstellung zum Jubiläum des Künstlers gezeigt. (siehe 14N). Soeben fertiggestellt wurde auch ein Fischerbrunnen für den Marktplatz der Stadt Greifswald, dessen Firguren gegenwärtig in Bronze gegossen werden."
