Leipzig, Völkerschlachtdenkmal, Wächterfiguren Zum Beitrag: Das gewaltige Denkmal erinnert und mahnt-"Biwak" zum Jubiläum der Völkerschlacht ADN-ZB Gahlbeck 29.9.1988 Fast 13 Meter hohe Wächterfiguren befinden sich an der oberen Außenwand des Leipziger Völkerschlachtdenkmals. Sie geben dem 91 Meter hohen Bauwerk einen würdigen Abschluß. Auf ihre Schwerter gestützt, sollen die Freiheitswächter mahnen, den Frieden zu wahren und zu schützen. (Hierzu gehören die Fotos 1988-0929-300N-303N!)
