For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Nervenklinik Waldheim, Untersuchungskommission ADN-Grubitzsch 15.6.90 Leipzig: Nervenklinik Waldheim- Eine gegenwärtig tätige Untersuchungskommission, der unter Leitung von OMR Prof. Ehrig Lange (3.v.l.) auch Prof. Dr. Wilfried Rasch (2.v.l.) der der FU Berlin (West) angehört, stellte hinreichende Verdachtsmomente für die Mißhandlung von Patienten und den Mißbrauch durch aufgelösten Staatssicherheitsdienst fest. Damit scheinen sich gleichlautende Berichte des "Stern" zu bestätigen. Von der Zentralen Überwachungsstelle aus konnten die Insassen der Anstalt auf 10 Monitoren ständig beobachtet werden.
