For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Riesa, Anpflanzen von Hopfen Zentralbild Siegert-24.5.1954 LPG "Clara Zetkin" baut Hopfen an. Die LPG "Clara Zetkin" in Riesa, Pechra baut auf einer 2, 5 ha grossen Fläche zum erstenmal Hopfen an. Die Stecklinge für den Hopfen wurden aus der Tschechoslowakischen Repuplik geliefert, deren Hopfenanbau in der ganzen Welt bekannt ist. Die Stecklinge müssen 50 cm tief in den Boden eingeplanzt werden und brauchen besonders guten Boden. Im nächsten Jahr wollen die Genossenschaftsbauern auf einer 18 ha grossen Fläche Hopfen anbauen.
