For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Herzleben, Bauer beim Melken Zentralbild TBD-Wittig-Schaar 18.5.1955 -2982- Bei den Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG "Walter Ulbricht" in Herzleben, Krs. Langensalza (Siehe Begleittext). Die LPG macht auf dem Wege zur Innenmaschinisierung gute Fortschritte. Melker Heinz Kohn arbeitet im Kuhstall mit der sowjetischen Anlage. Die LPG besitzt bereits 20 elektrische Melkmaschinen.
