For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bau eines Rinderoffenstalls Zentralbild Zühlsdorf 3.9.1958 Vom Bauplatz der Jugend in der Wische. Auf dem Bauplatz der Jugend in der altmärkischen Wische sind insgesamt 165 km Gräben instandgesetzt worden. Bis zum 30. September 1958, dem letzten Tag des diesjährigen Wischeeinsatzes, sollen 175 km Wasserläufe in Ordnung gebracht sein. Seit dem 15. Mai, dem Beginn der großen Aktion in der altmärkischen Wische, sind von den jungen Sozialisten außer den Grabenaufräumungsarbeiten acht Rinderoffenställe, drei Silos und ein großer Düngerschuppen gebaut, sowie 14, 2 km Straßen instandgesetzt worden. Neben einer Vielzahl von Einsätzen in der Landwirtschaft halfen die Jugendlichen nach Feierabend noch insgesamt 18000 Stunden beim Nationalen Aufbauwerk. UBz: Maurerlehrlinge des Kreisbaubetriebes Burg bei Magdeburg bauen einen Rinderoffenstall für die LPG Rosa Luxemburg in Werben.
