For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Elster, Festakt, Zusammenschluss MTS mit LPG Zentralbild Schutt Nl-L2.8.1959 Elster feierte sozialistische Hochzeit-Der 31. Juli war für die Traktoristen, Genossenschaftsbauern und die anderen Einwohner von Elster (Krs. Cottbus) ein ganz besonderer Tag. Sie feierten Hochzeit zwischen der Brigade 6 der MTS Mark-Zwunschen und der LPG ""Einheit"" vom Typ III in Elster. Ganz Elster, Bäuerinnen und Bauern aus zahlreichen Gemeinden des Kreises Jessen sowie Ehrengäste waren dabei. UBz: MTS-Direktor Woik und der LPG-Vorsitzende Schumacher (vorn sitzend) unterzeichnen den Leihvertrag.
