For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Jesewitz, Bauer das Fressen überwachend Zentralbild Schaar 27.1.1960 Jesewitzer überbieten den Plan 1960. Den Produktionsplan für 1960 zu überbieten und bis 1961 Westdeutschland in allen Positionen der Viehwirtschaft zu übertreffen, beschlossen die Bauern der Gemeinde Jesewitz im vollgenossenschaftlichen Kreis Bilenberg, bei denen vor wenigen Tagen der Erste Sekretär des ZK der SED, Walter Ulbricht, weilte. Zur Sicherung einer guten Futtergrundlage werden in Jesewitz in diesem Jahr 15 Prozent der Ackerfläche mit Mais und 34 Prozent mit Zwischenfrüchten bestellt. Hier einige Beispiele aus dem Kampfziel der Gemeinde Jesewitz: Plan 1960: Rinder je 100 ha 77, Kühe je 100 ha 38, Milch kg je Kuh 3200, Schweine je 100 ha 148. Ziel 1960: Rinder je 100 ha 85, Kühe je 100 ha 40, Milch kg je Kuh 3350, Schweine je 100 ha 155. Westdeutschland: Rinder je 100 ha 85, Kühe je 100 ha 39, Milch kg je Kuh 3408, Schweine je 100 ha 103; Dänemark: Rinder je 100 ha 104, Kühe je 100 ha 45, Milch kg je Kuh 3625, Schweine je 100 ha 173.
