For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Burmeister 25.8.1961 Nl-Qu. Größter DDR-Schiffbaubetrieb ist gegen Störanfälligkeit gesichert - 12, 7 Millionen DM Devisen eingespart. Der größte Schiffbaubetrieb der DDR, die volkseigene Warnowwerft in Rostock-Warnemünde, ist dank hervorragender sozialistischer Gemeinschaftsarbeit von Wissenschaftlern, Ingenieuren, Technikern und Arbeitern wirksam gegen alle Störversuche der Bonner Wirtschaftskrieger gesichert. Die Millionenbeträge, die bis Ende des Jahres 1962 für Importe aus der Westzone vorgesehen waren, werden nun nicht mehr in Anspruch genommen. UBz. Die "Lübbenau", der erste 11 200-Tonnen-Mehrzweckfrachter am Ausrüstungskai."
