For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Burmeister Gal-At. 13.12.1961 Produktionsaufgebot im VEB Kleiderwerke Greifswald. Modegestatlterin Hilde Teichmann und Werkleiter Kurt Paprott beim Auswerten eines Schnittbildes mit dem Planimeter (unser Bild) Der Betrieb hat durch diese überlegte Arbeitsweise bei der Mantelproduktion soviel Material eingespart, daß 3500 Joppen daraus hergestellt werden konnten. Aus Abfällen wurden außerdem 3000 Topflappen produziert, die als Massenbedarfsartikel auf den Markt kamen. Der VEB Kleiderwerke Greifswald hatte seinen Jahresplan bereits Anfang Dezember erfüllt. Er wird bis Jahresende 2500 Mäntel zusätzlich herstellen, das entspricht dem Bedarf einer mittleren Kleinstadt. |
