For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Liebers We/Pr 5.3.1963 Erdölverarbeitungswerk Schwedt Zügig geht der Aufbau des Chemiegiganten an der Oder voran. Auch die anhaltende Kälte der letzten Monate konnte den Elan der Bauerbeiter nicht schwächen. Verbissen kämpfen sie, ungeachtet aller Schwierigkeiten, um die Einhaltung der Staatsplantermine. Während im Kraftwerk bereits die ersten Aggregate montiert werden, stellt man in der Rohöldestillation die riesigen Destillationskolonnen auf. UBz.
