For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Ko-Ki. 4.8.1963 Internationales Turnier im Geräteturnen im Leipzig. Ein internationales Turnier im Geräteturnen wurde am 4. August 1963 in der Messehalle 2 in Leipzig durchgeführt. Die Wettkämpfe mit Turnern aus der CSSR, der UdSSR, aus Dänemark, Norwegen, Großbritannien, Polen, Rumänien, und Ungarn fanden vor 4700 Zuschauern, darunter zahlreiche internationale Ehrengäste des IV. Deutschen Turn- und Sportfestes statt. UBz.: Sieger Klaus Köste (DDR) nimmt die Glückwünsche des Zweitplacierten Peter Weber (DDR) entgegen. Der Sieger erhielt den Ehrenpreis das Vorsitzenden des Ministerrats der DDR, Otto Grotewohl. |
