For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Kunsthalle am Schwanenteich, Austtelungsraum Zentralbild Link 10.6.1969-Rostock - Tor zur Welt - Die neuerbaute Rostocker Kunsthalle am Schwanenteich ist ein weiterer Anziehungspunkt für die Rostocker und für viele in- und ausländischen Touristen. Der Ostseebezirk hat somit ein neues geistig-kulturelles Zentrum erhalten. Die Ausstellung "Sozialistische Kunst im Bezirk Rostock" fand seit Mitte Mai schon mehr als 7.500 Besucher. Bildhauer, Maler und Grafiker beteiligen sich an Führungen durch die modernen Säle, wo neben den Werken der bildenden Kunst auch Modelle künftiger Neubaugebiete in Städten des Küstenbezirkes sowie die volkskünstlerischen Arbeiten ausgestellt sind.
