ADN-ZB Gahlbeck 9.1.72 Strbske Pleso: Sechsfacher DDR-Erfolg der Nordisch Kombinierten
Mit 425,200 Punkten gewann Karl-Heinz Luck (SC Motor Zella-Mehlis) überlegen einen internationalen Wettbewerb in der nordischen Kombination in Strbske Pleso. Er verwies fünf weitere DDR-Sportler auf die nächsten Plätze. Erst danach konnten sich die Sportler aus der CSSR und der VR Polen plazieren. Grundlage des überlegenen Sieges von K.-H. Luck war seine hervorragende Laufleistung, bei der er seinen Konkurrenten fast vier Minuten abnahm.
