For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
KAP Schleiz, Getreideernte ADN-ZB Liebers.1.9.1974 Bez. Gera: Bei der Bergung der Halmfruchternte im Bezirk Gera wurden die Genossenschaftsbauern und Landarbeiter von 90 Mähdrescherbesatzungen aus dem Bezirk Halle in sozialistischer Hilfe unterstützt. Nach starkem Regen in den Nachtstunden konnte in der KAP "Wetteratal" bei Schleiz am 1.9.1974 der Weizen geerntet werden.
