For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Frachter, Verladekran ADN-ZB Sindermann 14.1.75 Rostock: Rostock: Hafenarbeiter des Rostocker Überseehafens steigern Umschlagleistungen Lebenswichtige Rohstoffe aus der UdSSR für unsere Volkswirtschaft werden täglich im Rostocker Überseehafen umgeschlagen. Apatit aus dem sowjetischen Hafen Nurmannsk gehört zu den Gütern, die regelmäßig auf Massengutfrachtern der UdSSR und der DDR in unsere Republik befördert werden. Der wertvolle Rohstoff wird in erster Linie in der chemischen und der Düngemittelindustrie der DDR gebraucht. Durch Methoden der wissenschaftlichen Arbeitsorganisatio nach sowjetischen Vorbild wollen die Rostocker Hafenarbeiter die 1974 erreicht Leistung von mehr als 13 Millionen Tonnen Gütern in diesem Jahr weiter ausbauen.
