| Description |
English: Buness from Halligarth, Baltasound Buness is the home of the Edmondston family, lairds of the Buness estate, which owns a large part of Unst, since the late 18th century. Halligarth was the home of the laird's son-in-law, Henry Saxby, in the 19th century, and Saxbys lived in the house until the 1990s. Halligarth is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland. |
