Description

Die mittelalterliche Abschnittsburg aus dem 13 Jhd. liegt etwa 30 Km südlich von Dresden in der Sächsischen Schweiz auf einem Basaltrücken. Der Wappenstein aus dem Jahre 1521 über diesem Tor ist der aufwendigste und kunstgeschichtlich wertvollste der ganzen Anlage.

The medieval castle from the 13th century is located about 30 Km south of Dresden, in Saxon Switzerland on a basalt ridge. The Coat of Arms Stone from 1521 above this gate is the most complex and art-historically valuable of the entire plant.
