A reconstructed stoa in Jerusalem

Summary[edit]

Description
English: A partial reconstruction of the stoa (covered porch) that ran along the cardo maximus of Jerusalem after its Roman reconstruction. This Roman layout was introduced after the city was razed in 135 AD and re-founded as Aelia Capitolina. The columns and paving stones may be Byzantine (4th century or later).
