Nederlands: Lesplank voor gebruik in een koranschool. Op koranscholen leren kinderen de Koran te memoriseren en op te schrijven. De koranteksten worden ingestudeerd door ze met inkt uit te schrijven op een lesplank. Na iedere les wordt de plank voor hergebruik klaargemaakt door de geschreven tekst in een speciaal hiervoor bestemd vat af te wassen. Het water uit dit vat wordt voor rituele doeleinden gebruikt of op rituele wijze afgevoerd.
De plank is tweezijdig beschreven. Gezien de lengte en moeilijkheidsgraad van de tekst is deze plank gebruikt door een gevorderde leerling. De tekst is geschreven in maghribi schrift. De tekst op de voorkant van de plank begint met de basmala (de formule 'In de naam van God, de Barmhartige, de Erbarmer'), gevolgd door sura 91 en sura 92 tot en met vers 5. Sura 92 wordt vooraf gegaan door de vermelding "Sura al-layl, Mekkaans, 21 verzen" en de basmala.De tekst wordt vervolgd op de achterkant van de plank, hierop is het laatste deel van sura 92 (vers 6-21) geschreven, gevolgd door de complete sura 93. Sura 93 wordt vooraf gegaan door de vermelding "Sura ad-doha, Mekkaans, 11 verzen" en de basmala. |
