Summary[edit]

Description
English: Cadeirlan Llanelwy - St Asaph Cathedral The smallest ancient cathedral in Wales,its construction was begun about 1239 but it was burnt down by Edward I's English soldiers in 1282. It was rebuilt between 1284 and 1381 but burnt again by Owain Glyndwr's troups in 1402. It was restored in the late 15th cenury and remodelled in 1867.
